Louis Maule, member of Winmalee Anglican Church, interviews Ise during the second of two morning services. |
Lunch with Ise at the Maules home - one of their adult children, Josh, has visited Ise twice in Butembo and is writing a book about him. |
After lunch we headed for Wollongong on the South Coast about 80 kms from Sydney. Afternoon tea was greatly enjoyed with my sister Rosalyn and her husband Peter Smith. At 6pm we arrived at Keiraville Anglican Church for their International Service for students from Wollongong University who come from the four corners of the globe. This had been organised by Anne-Marie Dodd with the Pastor in charge of the service Rev Thayel John. Anne-Marie is an old friend of Ise having hosted him on previous visits in 1999 and 2003 and visited him in Butembo twice in recent years.
Anne-Marie introduces an African Student. |
Ise chats with Wendy Reed, their son John, the Rector of the parish, and the Rev Colin Reed, who have lived and worked in Africa for many years. |
